Since the Ministry of Environment opened the Internet data Rural Environmental Registry, there are many questions that came to involve the issue of transparency. With the proposal to clarify the matter, the following video shows that transparency of data CAR is provided for by law – specifically, the Forest Code.
When the large farmers in Congress altered the forest law in 2012, fines for illegal deforestation practiced before 2008 could be anistiadas. At the time, the CAR was created to monitor compliance with the law, so that the producers themselves could benefit from the amnesty. The Code of the text makes it clear that it is a public record, demystifying the idea that transparency is illegal.
The video also demystifies the idea that transparency violates the privacy rights of producers. It is important to say that it does not reveal the CPF nor the registration of properties.
Among the advantages, the value of the producer who acts in accordance with the law and to increase the siege against deforestation.
