The International Institute for Education in Brazil (IEB) launches on Thursday (11), the publication “The New Challenges of the Brazilian Environmental Policy”. The work is a collection of 17 experts from various sectors (civil society, international agencies and governments) and discusses current issues and challenges for: Environmental Management in Brazil; Forests and Deforestation; Protected Areas; The Neodesenvolvimento; and the Law, Justice and Politics. The event takes place at 19h, in Rappel Confectionery (210 north) and will be attended organizer Paul Little, and other authors.
The new publication of IEB also marks the launch of a new label for the publishing market, the milfoil. Result of a work that is already being done for over ten years, the new imprint aims to improve the operational capacity of the Institute in the sector, and implement a professional editorial board able to analyze and select the demands, as well as partnerships for the co-financing of publications.
Since its inception, the IEB has released more than 50 publications, making reference in publishing with titles focused on sustainability issues.
