ABIOVE undertakes to campaign to implement CAR in 2015
The Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil (Abiove) announced that it will make campaigns to encourage soy producers to do the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) in 2015. Even with the migration of records of pioneer states like Pará and Mato Grosso, less than 10% of an estimated 5.4 million farms in the country made the CAR in the first six months of registration.

Meeting shows examples of municipalities that use CAR to environmental management
Municipalities are fundamental in order to do the environmental regularization of rural properties. Despite this role, missing from most local governments the resources financial and human resources to cope with this task. The implementation of the Registration Rural Environmental - CAR requirement of forestry law in force since May 2012, is the most striking example of this reality.

São Paulo Assembly approves project that still loose more forest protection
