Código Florestal: por um debate pautado em ciência

Study brings together dozens of research and published studies and provides  an overview of the scientific production related to forest protection as well as  point out some relevant gaps, as acontribution  to think the research in a more integrated manner and, if possible, more  close and accessible to Brazilian society .

The focus of this study, released on January 5, 2015, is the conservation of biodiversity, considered  in its scope – such as composition, structure and function of the different  levels of biological organization – which depend on the services ecosystem, such as maintaining quality and the availability  of water and soil conservation, among others. It also brings the history of Brazilian forest protection laws, all in simple, straightforward language.
