Guimarães believes that membership is not just to punish or monitor deforested areas, but also to allow access to rural credit, “the Bank of Brazil, BNDES, the Caixa, Banco da Amazônia are investment instruments in public policies sustainable. For the representative of the Brazilian Association of State Entities of the Environment (ABEMA) at the public hearing, Josemário Lucena da Silva, registration will allow access to a database that will serve as “necessary and effective tool to strengthen the urban monitoring and rural and meet the Brazilian environmental reality. ” He pointed out that for the first time, every society can follow online the real situation of deforestation in the country.
